Let’s face it; we live in challenging economic times. In our area school administrators are working to tighten budgets and provide a solid education that is cost efficient. I was really pleased when I came across this simple application called Print Friendly. This free, simple to use application can be used to save paper when students and teachers need to print information from the web. Learn how you can save printing costs as you take time to watch the video below and visit the Print Friendly site today. No registration is required to use the resource and there is a bookmarklet button that can be dragged to your browser’s bookmark toolbar. If you like this tool you might want to suggest that this bookmarklet be included as part of the district computer image…see what your technology coordinator thinks!
Oh, and by the way…you can embed a Print-Friendly button/widget on your blog or website very easily. Just click on the Get Your Button link found on the homepage of the site. You can choose from four different options. You can see the button/widget I selected for this post below. If you click on it you will be able to see Print Friendly in action!

Hi, this is Taylor from PrintFriendly.com. I love the post and the thought of helping teachers and students save money.
It would be great if you added the Print Friendly button to your blog. You can get it here: http://www.PrintFriendly.com
Hi Taylor…great suggestion. I have temporarily embedded the Print-Friendly button in my blog posting. Eventually, I plan to take advantage of the WordPress option…when I have more time. Thanks for writing.
