I have developed a site for elementary music teachers and kids at Fliggo that has become really useful for a lot of us, nationwide. We were all aghast at the announcement. I too have no use for Vidly since it is totally not the product that I need. I have looked at several options and I don't love any of them. The least worst I've seen is magnify.net. I wonder if you've looked at it. There are ads....sigh, but it is free, you can lock keep the kids from wandering to other places on the site which is my primary goal and you can create categories, my primary needs.
