Magnanimous Jamendo

jamendoThis music site is so terrific I decided to create a new category for my blog….Magnanimous Music. Why magnanimous? Because I feel that any musician who is generous enough to share his/her talent with the world is just that…generous and worthy. Jamendo is a community of free, legal and unlimited music published under Creative Commons licenses. “Magnanimous” musicians can upload music to share with the Jamendo community; you in turn can use their music on blogs, download it to your ipod or MP3 player, listen to it online (not recommended on school networks), and use the music for videos, digital stories, etc. Please read the Creative Commons terms of use for details. I have included a widget from Jamendo that features musician Maya Filipi?. Thank you Jamendo for creating a portal where talented artists like Maya can share their talent with the world!

Please let me know how this widget is working for you….Initially, I set the widget to play automatically, but I changed it later so that you have the option of playing the music or not playing the music. I realize that not everyone is going to enjoy the same music that I do. When I initially programmed the widget to play automatically I found that I could not turn off the music in Foxfire even though the widget worked fine for me in the following browsers: IE, Safari, and Chrome…interesting. Let me know how the widget is working for you!
