Today is Saturday…it’s time to play! Paper dolls make a great craft project and can be used for historical dioramas, stick puppets, or felt boards. My Twitter friend, Patricia Hawkenson, also mentioned that she creates word bubbles for dolls and uses them as conversation starters or as bulletin board enhancements.
Actually, I was surprised and pleased to discover there were so many reproducible paper dolls online, though I suspect many youngsters prefer the virtual versions. I am still testing a couple of the Web 2.0 paper doll apps I discovered. I plan to share my research and make virtual doll recommendations on Monday.
