A few years ago I worked with a marvelous Health Teacher, Barb McDowell, to develop a handwashing campaign WebQuest for students in her Middle School classes. Today would be a great day to reinforce or re-introduce the idea that including a healthy portion of vegetables in your diet is a good thing. Encourage your family and students to eat vegetables during each meal and snack today. Better still, try to to be a vegetarian for a day. By the way, did you realize this month is also National Fresh Fruit and Vegetables Month? This is a great time of year to color your food palette!
