Resources posted by Educators
There are a number of generous educators who have posted their SMARTboard activities online so that other educators can adapt the files for classroom use. The following sites serve as portals to some of those Notebook files:
- SMART Notebook Search – community-created Notebook files provided by third parties independent of SMART.
- Wichita Public Schools – many of these files also include Senteo quizzes built into the SMART Notebook presentations… a great portal of resources.
- Rockingham County Public Schools – SMARTBoard Notebook search engine-searches over 120 websites. Under search #4 is a SMARTBoard Notebook search engine. E.G. Try typing in regroup and download Notebook files.
- SMART Exchange – you need to sign up for a free account to fully utilize this site, but you do not need an account to download most presentations. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
- ACCE Whiteboard Resources - includes resources for SMARTboards and Promethian Boards
- Center School District
- Teacher Center of Broome County – this site has a large portal or SMARTboard resources.
- Wichita CSD – a great portal of pre-made SMARTboard activities
- Active Maths - interactive resources that will enhance and enrich the teaching and learning of maths. The activities can be used either by individual pupils, small groups or with the whole class using a projector or an interactive whiteboard.
- Near North Shared SMARTboard Reposit – great collection…check out the castle presentation
- SMART board Activities Blog – over 400 notebook files categorized by grade level and subject
- Great K-3 Sites for the SMARTboard
- TEQ Educator Resource Center
Miscellaneous
Sometimes teachers ask me to help them find files for specific subjects or tasks. Use the links below to discover some of my favorite SMARTboard files. They are ready for you to download and use. Enjoy!
- Calendar and Math Fun (notebook file) - I found this marvelous calendar and math activity on the SMART Exchange site. It was loaded to the site by C. Wright and created specifically for third graders (I love the graphics and activities…I bet you will too!)
- Symmetry (notebook file) - This is another marvelous activity I found on the SMART Exchange site. The activity was created by G. Gronholt. Your students will love it!
- First Grade Making and Writing Words (notebook file) - (great if you are implementing Scott Foresman Reading Series)
